Head of the Information Technology Center

The Information Technology Center is a university subdivision that provides IT infrastructure, access to information sources in the educational process and in scientific research.

The strategic objectives of the Information Technology Center are:

  1. Digital Infrastructure Development.
  2. Creation and Development of the Institutional Information Space.
  3. Training and development of digital skills of university teachers.

These goals involve solution of the following issues:

  • endowments with modern specialized equipment designed to support the educational process;
  • creation of the repository of digital educational resources;
  • modernization of course materials;
  • elaboration of digital skills training mechanisms for pre-university and university teachers;
  •  training of university teachers for the formation of digital competence.

Tatiana Veverita, PhD, university lecturer

She has been working at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology since 2003.

Graduated studies:

Bachelor’s degree, Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, specializing in Computer Science and Applied Foreign Languages, Tiraspol State University, Chisinau.

Master’s degree, Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, Mathematics, Tiraspol State University, Chisinau.

Doctoral studies in School Didactics (by levels and educational disciplines), specialty University Pedagogy.

Areas of scientific and didactic competence:

computer science teaching; implementation of ICT in the teaching process; web programming; computational geometry; analysis and design of algorithms; programming techniques.

Scientific publications:

35 publications: 2 scientific papers, 9 articles in national journals of categories B and C; 8 scientific-methodical papers and 16 Materials / theses at scientific forums.

Participation in national and international scientific projects:

·       Member of the ERASMUS + 2015-2018 project “Creating Moldovan E-network for promoting innovative e-teaching in the continuing professional education” (TEACH ME).

·       Member of the WITNESS project: Wide Integration of Sensor Networks to Enable Smart Surveillance ”, 2018 – 2020.

·       Project within the State Program (2020-2023) Methodology of ICT implementation in the process of studying the real sciences in the education system of the Republic of Moldova from the perspective of inter / transdisciplinarity (STEAM concept).

Lesan Valentin, engineer-programmer

Graduated studies:

Professional technical studies within the Center of Excellence in Informatics and Information Technologies, specialty Programming and analysis of program products.

Bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology at the Tiraspol State University, specializing in Computer Science.

Technical Skills:

Advanced knowledge in:

Java, PHP, C ++, C,

Web design and programming – HTML and CSS,

Web application design, management and optimization,

Database management systems (PhpMyAdmin, MySQL),

Programming languages for managing relational databases (SQL, T-SQL),

Version control (Git),

Project Creation and Management System (Maven),

Windows / Linux operating systems,

Microsoft Office suite applications.

Zalinschi Gheorghe, engineer-programmer

He has been working at the Information Technology Center since 2018.

Graduated studies:

Master’s degree at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, specializing in Information Technology in Education, Tiraspol State University, Chisinau.

Technical skills:

Advanced knowledge of WEB programming languages: PHP & MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 (SASS), and knowledge of the WordPress CMS.

Working experience with Adobe Photoshop.

Galben Vasile, engineer-programmer

He has been working at the Information Technology Center since 2018.

Graduated studies:

Master’s degree at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, specializing in Information Technology in Education, Tiraspol State University, Chisinau.

Bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, Physics, Tiraspol State University, Chisinau.

Technical skills:

Design, configuration and administration of computer networks-LAN, WAN, INTERNET, operating systems for UNIX, LINUX, NOVELL, WINDOWS NT / 2000 SERVER network; Relational database management systems; system engineering;

Skills for maintenance and service activities for electronic and automation equipment, industrial process computers, industrial manipulators and robots, computing technology.

Malaniuc Angela, engineer-programmer

She has been working at the Information Technology Center since 2019.

Graduated studies:

Bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Mathematics and Cybernetics, specializing in Mathematics, Moldova State University, Chisinau.

Technical skills:

Advanced knowledge in WEB programming languages: PHP & MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 (SASS), and knowledge of the WordPress CMS.

Working experience with the Joomla content management system.
